RAR help

I realize that for many I am stating the obvious here and that for many I am answering question that they didn't know how to ask. Feel free to add info to be edited in using the comments if you are able to help someone better than I am quickly doing here.

Are you unable to open a rar file?

With windows, you need WINRAR, a simple program available here:

http://winrar.ed0wnloads.com/
or
http://www.rarsoft.com/
or
7-zip
or
just Google another one

I did some research for Macs and this is what I was told:

http://www.zipeg.com/mac.home.html
And download the applicable ZIPEG freeware software to access your RAR files.

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/22774/the-unarchiver
And download this software.

(I was told "Between them both I open and access almost everything I ever need to/have to that clients send me from several varied platforms."
He added:
"ZIP is mainly for Windows. Stuff-It is the Mac version. I understand that SuperNZB also does a programme to open the RAR files, but have no experience using it.")

Does this help?
